GIANNI’S CARBON ROAD RACE BICYCLE

“I became aware very early in the design process that George and his colleagues would be releasing a new, very modern, and aerodynamic frame and I decided to be one of the first to place an order for the Fidusa F17C”.
Giannis decided to acquire a new road bike for his racing program, with his preference being for flatter, more sprint-oriented races. The F17C frame is custom fabricated with absolute precision to the size and geometry of each individual rider (tube-to-tube construction).
This method allows us to select each frame tube with different lengths and angles according to the needs of each rider. The wide and aerodynamic frame tubes, the unique head tube, the rear triangle with dropped seat stays, and the enlarged bottom bracket create a homogeneous and compact whole.
Aerodynamic features include internally routed brake and gear cables and a seat post with a 25mm offset which integrates perfectly into the seat tube and which is fixed with an internal clamping mechanism. Another innovation of the new frame is the use of Direct Mount brakes.
The fork is 1 1/8” – 1½” and has an aerodynamic tail at the crown which blends seamlessly into the extended down tube. All the tubing was designed, manufactured and tested by the Fidusa team in Rhodes, initially with 3D samples and then fabricated using our own molds. This was a lengthy and expensive process but we finally achieved the result we wanted.
