CHRISTO’S F18D CARBON AERO ROAD DISC BICYCLE

Built in December 2018.

The F18D frame started as a concept to produce a disc brake-equipped racing bicycle without sacrificing aerodynamics. To this end, features include internally routed brake hoses and gear cables and an integrated seat post with an airfoil profile. Another innovation of the new frame is the use of a bladed fork (1 1/8” – 1 ½”) which blends seamlessly into the extended down tube for maximum aerodynamic benefit.
Christos chose a Campagnolo Chorus H11 Disc groupset matched with Campagnolo Zonda Disc wheels (160mm front rotor and 140mm rear) for the running gear. Stopping power is provided by the powerful new Campagnolo flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes and the 12mm thru-axles front and rear provide precision and stability in all braking conditions. The build was completed with a Deda Elementi handlebar and stem and a Selle San Marco saddle.
The custom, unique paint scheme was his own design.
